My New 2003 Mustang Convertible
Was looking to buy a new car, and saw this ad on Craigslist
"Beautiful 2003 dark blue Mustang convertible automatic with white top . Spoiler, V6, multi-CD system, 35,000 mile scheduled maintenance just done. Excellent condition. Low Mileage!!!! Garage parked during ownership.WAY below Kelly and Edmunds Blue Books!! MACH Audio System. Clean white leather interior. Owned by non-smoker. Moving. Must sell."
I checked out the car with my friend, who's the product manager of WashingtonPost.com's Cars section, and also makes a web video series, Grease On Your Hands. He made sure there's nothing wrong with the car, and I negotiated down from $11k to $10.5k.
I just got the title signed to me. I just have to go to NC and take care of some stuff at the DMV over the weekend, can't wait to drive my new car next week. :)

Sorry i'd missed you when you were cutting through G'boro a couple weeks ago. It was a busy night at work and Mia wasn't feeling too well so I had to tend to her after we close. My eell gets crappy signal at the restaurant and I missed 89% of the calls.
Anywho...interesting blog you have here. Congrats on the new ride! Just don't get busted speeding it though.... adios!

Andew: Thanks bro, I just drove it for 2 days, it's really fun, but it's been good weather, haven't tested it top closed in bad weather yet.
Alex: It's cool, I understand, and it was just last Friday, not a couple of weeks ago. I hope Mia feels better. I'll try not to get too many speeding tickets, insurance is expensive enough for a convertible. :) Oh yeah, how'd you find my blog?
