First time Skiing: Liberty Mountain
So I skied for the first time in my life on Sunday, it was a fun experience. I went to Liberty Mountain in Carroll Valley, PA, which is about an hour and a half from where I live. I know how to ice skate, so picking up skiing isn't too bad.
I made it through the beginner courses fairly easily, but the intermediate course totally kicked my @$$. I must've fallen at least 15-20 times during the trip, which averages about 3-4 times per intermediate course.
One thing I really noticed is that I can sharply turn left really well, but not turning right. That's because people only ice skate counter clockwise in most places.
Overall it was fun; I plan on going back more often, now that I know how close it is, as soon as my body stops being sore...

We are going this weekend for Jen's first time, trying to get her warmed up before we go to Utah
Why Utah? There're plenty of places on the East Coast that you can drive to, about 5 hrs from Raleigh, where you can just get a local motel for a night, such a hassle to go all the way to Utah.
LOL @ the image of Paul trying to ski.
Dude, I SO can ski, just like I can ice skate.
