Gas Price At $2.59 Per Gallon

Gas price is at $2.59/gallon. I'm sure it's a lot cheaper where I'm from (NC), but being used to $2.95 in Northern Virginia and $3.05 in DC, I'm really glad to see $2.59 again. Today is the first time in months that cost me less than $30 for a full tank of gas (11 gallons).

I guess life is all about expectations. A while back, I would've been super annoyed at $2.59/gallon for gas, but now that I expect it to be around $3, I'm happy about the current gas price.

Anyone else have something like this happen? Being happy about something that isn't that great in the first place, but happiness just comes from low expectations and whatever that is, exceeded your low expectations?

Yeah the price of gas has been falling and is supposed to continue to fall. $2.59/gallon though?!?! Dang that's pricey. I paid $2.21 a few days ago and its been dropping since.

Yeah, gas always has been about 30 cents cheaper in NC comparing to DC.

Hey Mate!

Gas prices? I don't even have a car anymore. But nobody in the US should be complaining really, cause gas in sunny ol' England is through the roof. Just think of that when you go to the pump. Okay? hope that everything is okay with you.

Anonymous? This wouldn't be my buddy Dave who just moved to England, would it? If so, ANSWER YOUR EMAIL!! And for future blog comments, there's an option "Other" where you can type in your name.

I totally agree that gas is a lot more expensive in England, but I'm guessing it's not that bad because people use less gas there? You don't have a car, and people that DO have cars in England drive a lot less than people with cars here, is that correct?

I couldn't agree more. After experiencing how a $3.5 per galloon gas can cause pain in your stomach :), we perceive that $2.5 is a great price. I mean at least I do. Indeed it is not but then after all perception is reality right? :)

Firstly, you need to blog more quickly, mate. I check your blog often to see what is up with the gayest tekken player who ever lived, and there is nothing there. Sad. Secondly, I find it more fun to write here than it is to reply to email. So there! Thirdly... I am still adjusting to the time switch. Okay, there was no real reason for the third point, but I feel more comfortable with lists of three.

That's fine, but leave your name. Don't do this "Anonymous" stuff.

I usually post about once per week nowadays.

Gayest Tekken Player......don't know what to say about that one, just because I play cheaply doesn't make me gay. And isn't "cheapness" the ultimate tool for winning?
